Mechanical Engineer Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer Manager to join an international underfloor heating company. JK is an innovative technology company working on environmentally friendly heating solutions.

JK is a provider of in-ground underfloor heating (UFH) systems for residential and commercial buildings. We operate in 10 European countries and have been serving the Dutch and German markets for more than 20 years. JK is a market leader for UFH systems in the renovation industry. Our installation method uses dustless grinding technology is unique and very popular by renovation, refurbishment and ‘change of use’ projects. JK creates quickly precision grooves in the existing screed floor, or subfloor construction, using a specially designed ‘JK floor grinder’.

As Mechanical Engineer Manager you will be responsible for planning and installation of projects. You will work nationwide (UK) within domestic and commercial industry, but mainly based in and around London area (M25). We ask the equivalent of three years relevant work experience, motivation and excellent customer service skills, you are invited to join our dynamic and expanding UK team and help to grow it into a friendly, innovative and successful company which cares for staff and clients within a rapidly growing heating industry.

    The Mechanical Engineer Manager will be carrying out, and is responsible for the following work:
  • Site visit and technical assessments prior to installation
  • Installation, service and maintenance of UFH systems
  • Manage projects and delivery of a section of the project.
  • Provide innovative engineers solutions to a project
  • Provide technical engineering support
  • Responsible to ensuring the works are delivered safely, to specification, budget and planning
  • Leadership, support & guidance of mechanical engineers and a mentor to junior staff
  • Preparation of projects by material, labor and method.
    Essential skills:
  • Preferably an CCN1, CEN1 or CPA1 Training Certificate
  • Good decision making, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
  • CRB Check
  • Strong Mechanical and Electrical background
  • Willing to carry out some out of hours work
